Tristan Younghaus

Tristan Younghaus brings over a decade of diverse legal experience in business, real estate, and estate planning matters. With bar admissions in California, Texas, and Colorado, her career is marked by notable honors including recognition as an ABA “100 Women Who Inspire Us,” selection as a San Diego Super Lawyers® Rising Star, and multiple additional professional and community awards. She is actively involved in organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association where she serves as a Council Member for the Trust and Estate Section, Women in Aviation International, Boulder Forever Buffs, and the Federalist Society.

Prior to joining Tinnelly Law Group, Tristan practiced at Younghaus Law in Boulder where she advised business owners on entity formation, governance, regulatory compliance, and complex trust and estate planning. She also has extensive experience guiding families through multi-jurisdictional probate and trust administration and working with highly regulated industries including cannabis-related businesses. Earlier in her career, she served as a partner and senior associate at Robinson & Henry, P.C. where she led teams of attorneys and managed a broad caseload involving corporate matters, real estate transactions, business litigation strategy, and sophisticated estate planning. Her background also includes roles at McDonough Law LLC and her own practice, Coastal Pacific Law, representing clients in corporate, import and export, trust, and probate matters.

Tristan earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law where she excelled academically, held leadership roles in student organizations, and served as Secretary of the International Law Society chapter which was recognized nationally as the Best All-Around International Law Society Chapter. She completed international legal studies across China, Spain, Belgium, and Switzerland. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of San Diego School of Law and holds certifications in international trade law, global legal studies, advanced legal research, and Library of Congress research proficiency.
