Daniel M. Parlow

Senior Attorney

Daniel M. Parlow, Esq. graduated cum laude from Marquette University with a double major in Biochemistry and Psychology.  He then attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif honor society.  Following law school, he clerked two years for Judge David P. Yaffe in the high-volume Writs & Receivers Department of the Los Angeles Superior Court, gaining invaluable experience on how the law is applied to real cases.

Following his clerkship, Dan moved to the Coachella Valley, where he has practiced law for the past 15 years.  His first two years of practice were spent working in a corporate defense firm, where he represented a Fortune 500 mining company, trucking companies, and grocery stores.  In addition to defending his clients on contract and injury lawsuits, Dan served as an emergency response investigation attorney for industrial accidents throughout Southern and Central California.

Dan then moved to an HOA-focused firm, representing associations in a variety of litigation and general counsel matters. His litigation experience includes construction defect lawsuits, breach of annexation agreement disputes, covenant enforcement, and insurance defense, including several years where he was southern California panel counsel for a major association D&O insurance carrier.  Dan’s litigation experience also includes extensive appellate work, as he finds the intense legal research and writing involved in appeals enjoyable.  Dan’s experience in general counsel matters advising HOA boards is similarly wide-ranging–spanning all types of matters from collections and disciplinary proceedings to employment liability and government relations.

In his free time, Dan spends time at the gym, hiking, attempting to cook, bake, and bartend, watching a movie or series, and following Wisconsin sports teams.
