
Samantha (“Sammy”) Hehir, brings exceptional academic achievements and strong legal experience that make her a valuable addition to the team. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor with distinction. During law school, she served as a Dean’s Scholar, Lawyering Fellow, and Note Development Editor for the International Law Journal. She was also actively involved in the Women’s Law Association and the Latin American Law Students Association. Sammy earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University, where she was consistently recognized for academic excellence and leadership.
Sammy joins the firm with experience at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she served as both a Summer Intern and later as an Associate Attorney in the Boston and Los Angeles offices. Her practice focused on representing private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in complex financings, acquisitions, refinancings, and growth equity investments. She has experience drafting and negotiating financing documents, conducting due diligence, coordinating cross functional deal teams, and managing complex transaction timelines. She also brings litigation experience, including drafting an amicus brief and advocating for pro bono clients in federal benefits and appellate matters. She further developed her legal skills as a Judicial Intern at the Suffolk County Superior Court, where she worked closely with a Superior Court Judge, drafted rulings, and contributed to procedural guidebooks.
